It is with a great sense of pride and happiness that I assume the position of Principal at Collier High School. This school has been part of my life for 36 years. As a Kateri camper, camp counselor, teacher, and now principal on this beautiful campus, I have had the opportunity to grow and learn alongside my fellow campers, teachers, principals and lifelong friends through my own personal journey.
It is a great honor to have the confidence of the school community as we move forward in this time of change to build upon our proud history and forge ahead continuing the mission of Collier.
I am looking forward to getting to know each of our teachers, students and their families. I am a strong believer in collaboration, as we all work better together to accomplish our common goals and reach towards our mission which is to provide at-risk youth a chance to grow toward their potential in an environment that promotes belonging, dignity and hope.
Finally, as you can probably imagine I take my role as principal very seriously, but I also believe that school should be fun! The best schools in the world are those where every single person feels valued, safe, welcomed, and they get to have fun. It is my top priority to ensure that everyone who sets foot on our campus feels like part of the Collier Family. I welcome you all to visit our campus, and please drop by my office to say hello.
